  5. Request for Driver Safety Course

    The State of Texas has a program that enables drivers to attend a six (6) hour course for dismissal of certain moving violations, which is designed to keep it from being reported on your driving record. Request approval to take the DSC.

  6. DPS Application for Driver Record

    A certified copy of your driver record is required for some deferred dispositions/driver safety course. Use this application to apply by mail to the Department of Public Safety. Driver Records are not available at License Offices.

  7. Motion to Dismiss FMFR

    A citation for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility may be dismissed at no charge if the defendant provides the court with proof of coverage for the date and time of the violation on the vehicle or defendant. The coverage must be verified with the insurance company before dismissal is granted.

  8. Compliance Dismissal Fees

    You may wish to request for deferred disposition to keep the offense you have been charged with from appearing on your driving and/or criminal record. This is a list of common citations that qualify for deferred dispositions along with the requirements and fees.

  9. Payment Arrangement Request

    In some cases you may qualify to make payment arrangements for court fines and fees. Submit this form to the Municipal Court to determine your eligibility.

  12. Request for PreTrial

    A plea of not guilty means that you are informing the court that you deny guilt or that you have a defense in your case. You may complete a Request for PreTrial from and enter your Not Guilty plea to begin the trial process.

    In some cases a continuance may be requested to allow a defendant time to better prepare for their case. The Motion for Continuance must be submitted for consideration.
