City of Elgin is continuing to produce and distribute water. Found a water line break on Lexington and are repairing it. Walked the transmission line and confirmed it has no other leaks at this time. Report leaks in street, Check your house for leaks, turn off at the source or request turn off at the meter: 512-661-8585 email dnavejas@ci.elgin.tx.us . Conserve water to support the system refilling and pressure stabilization. Failure to conserve will delay the system’s recovery. As your household has water service, limit use of large appliances like dishwashers and washing machines. Boil water notice remains in effect. We do not have an estimate for return to full service.
