What is the procedure for obtaining an Alarm Permit?

Any business or residence (inside the city limits) that has an alarm needs to obtain an alarm permit through the city.  

  • The City Ordinance for Alarms can be obtained on the city website.            
  • You will need to fill out an application for the alarm permit that can be obtained at the Police Department, or on the city website
  • There is a fee of $50 for business and $25 for residential alarms paid by check or money order only; no cash or credit cards accepted.
  •  Alarms are to be renewed annually.
