  2. Hogalicious Dessert Contest

    Put on your baking cap and apron and make a dessert (or two) to enter in the Hogalicious Dessert Contest. Desserts must fall into one of two categories; pies or cakes and be home baked (no store bought items. A Professional category is also available - check out the Hogeye Festival page to get a registration form.

  3. Pearls Before Swine Art Show

    Pearls showcases the Elgin area’s finest artists and brings together diverse and stimulating pieces of their work. The Opening Gala includes a silent auction, the proceeds go to the Pearls Before Swine Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are awarded by the Elgin Arts Association each year to Elgin-area graduating seniors who plan to continue studies in any of the arts including visual, music, theater, dance, creative writing, and more.   1. Trick-or-Treat bag decorating

    We are FULL for Trick-or-Treat Bag Decorating next Thursday!!
    Anyone who did not register is still welcome to attend and use our art supplies, but you will need to BRING YOUR OWN BAG to decorate.

    Halloween and Safe Trick-or-Treating are almost here, so come decorate you own trick-or-treating bag at the Fleming Center! We will have bags, paint, decorations and light refreshments, but you’re welcome to bring your own decorations.
