Classes

In an effort to provide the most to our Rec members, we are increasing the number of Rec supported fitness classes that are included in Elgin Rec Center memberships.

High Intensity Fitness with Jessica Ortiz

Feel Stronger and leaner with this fast- paced, instructor led class for all level of athletes every Monday and Wednesday. Exercises vary by class for a whole body workout. You'll pick up the pace during these calorie-burning circuit workouts made up of conditioning, agility and some equipment based movements targeting Butt & Legs, Upper Body & Core- a Full body Burn!

Siéntase fuerte y lleno de energía con esta clase de aeróbicos de ritmo rápido dirigida por un instructor cada lunes disponible para todos niveles. Los entrenamientos de circuito para quemar calorías están compuestos por movimientos basados en agilidad, condición y resistencia. ¡Nos enfocamos en la parte superior del cuerpo, las piernas, glúteos, y abdomen – quema grasa en todo el cuerpo!

Senior Aerobics

Seniors! Join us at the Elgin Recreation Center Studio for a mental and physical work out at Senior Aerobics! Trainer Jennifer will cover a full body workout with weights, coordination, balance and cardio every Tuesday & Thursday from 10:30-11:30AM.

Monthly Senior Rec Membership - $15

Pilates / Flow Yoga

Prepare for a unique mind/body experience where you will build strength and flexibility through a series of pilates based movements perfectly synchronized to music. Your breath will guide your practice as you venture into a better understanding of the breath/body connection.

A yoga mat and hand towel will be utilized in this class.
