Elgin Parks & Recreation Survey

The City of Elgin Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is conducting a Parks and Recreation Survey. This information will be used to complete an update of the Open Space Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

Since the plans adoption in 2010 a number of major projects have been completed or are in process including renovation of the Fleming community center, completion of Shenandoah park trail, Morris memorial park restrooms and bath house, sidewalks on FM 1100, Avenue C, 11th and 2nd Streets, planting trees throughout the park system and an indoor recreation center is set to break ground in 2016.

Please take a few moments to share your thoughts about parks and recreation in Elgin and help develop an updated plan that will guide the next five to ten years of park development in Elgin. The Elgin Parks & Rec Survey can be found at this
link. Or you can complete the survey at the Elgin public library.
